Howdy all,

So I have obtained a server files pack (binaries, data, txData, sql etc) and want to transfer it to a ZAP hosting server to test models and modding ideas as I explore the world of FiveM modding. My first question is: what type of ZAP hosting server do I need? I expected there to be one fiveM option, turns out there are like 10 (FiveM Mod (Windows), FiveM Mod (Linux), FiveM ESX RP Server, FiveM Mod (txAdmin) etc which one do I need to host these files?

And once I have purchased and set-up the correct type of server, how simple is it to transfer and activate these files?

Cheers for your help in advance.

Hi ! To answer your message, first of all I personally advise you to choose another host, because to start this one is rather complex.

Then if you really want to keep ZAP Hosting you will have to choose "FiveM Mod (Linux)", unless you prefer a windows interface but I advise against it.

Once you've purchased and configured the server, it's easy to transfer these files. You will receive named FTP accesses. With software like WinScp, you can easily transfer your files by dragging and dropping.

As for the activation, in theory, it is included with the server files pack: it is a file called "server.cfg", inside is the activation of the different installations.
